Pricing

PayPlayGo is free for organisers: there's no fee for running games or for payouts, and you get your whole share, less any refunds players are due. Players pay their share of the venue plus our booking fee of 70p to £1.10, which depends on the share and includes VAT. Every price we show for a game, from the game link to checkout, already includes the booking fee.
The booking fee

An £80 pitch shared by ten is £8.00 each. Add the 90p booking fee and each player pays £8.90.
Where £8.90 goes
Here's one player's £8.90 paid with a UK debit card. The Stripe and PayPlayGo amounts are estimates: they change with the card used and how the organiser's games run.
- To the organiser, for the place

- Their whole share. We send it through Stripe once free drop-outs close and payouts are set up, less any refunds due. It reaches their bank after that, so it isn’t guaranteed to arrive before the game.
- VAT on the booking fee

- Paid to HMRC. Our 90p booking fee includes 15p VAT at 20%. This example assumes an organiser who doesn’t charge VAT.

- Stripe charges a monthly fee for each organiser it pays, plus a fee on each payout, shared across the game. The amount per player depends on how many games the organiser runs and how many people pay online.

Refunds
If a player drops out before the free drop-out deadline, or the game is cancelled (including when it doesn't get enough players and the organiser doesn't go ahead with fewer), they get everything back, booking fee included. After the deadline, they're refunded in full if someone else takes their place before kick-off.
Who's who
The organiser sells the place. Players pay PayPlayGo, which is run by Appoly Ltd (VAT number GB279632265). We collect the organiser's share as their agent and charge players our own booking fee, and Stripe handles the card payments and the payouts to the organiser. See the terms for the details.
